WHAT THIS SHOULD IMPROVE

01A faster, clearer mobile experience

02Pages mapped to real search demand

03Technical issues handled in priority order

The problem this solves.

Most trade websites were built as a brochure. A homepage about the company, a gallery, a services list, a contact form. It can look perfectly smart and produce nothing, because none of it answers anything anybody typed into Google.

Then there are the mechanical problems, which stay invisible until somebody looks. Pages that were never indexed. A phone number that isn't tappable on a phone. A site taking six seconds to load on 4G in a van. Those aren't strategy problems, they're faults, and they're usually cheaper to fix than anyone expects.

What is actually included.

In the order it gets done, because the order matters more than the list.

01

Technical inspection

Crawlability, indexing, redirects, broken links, page speed on a real connection, and whether anything important is blocked. We find out what is wrong before proposing anything.

02

Fix what is broken first

An unindexed page that was already good will move faster than any new content. Removing obstacles comes before adding anything, because it is quicker and cheaper.

03

Restructure around services

One page per job you want more of, replacing the single services list that ranks for none of them. This is usually the change that produces the most.

04

Mobile and conversion path

Tappable number on every page, an obvious next step, forms that work, and nothing important hidden behind a menu. Most trade searches happen on a phone, often urgently.

05

Titles, headings and metadata

Written for the search and the click rather than stuffed. Dull work, quick to do, and frequently left undone entirely.

06

Publish the changes

On WordPress we make the changes on the site. If you're on something we cannot publish to directly, we prepare them and say so plainly rather than pretending otherwise.

What the first month looks like.

  1. Full technical crawl and a list of what is wrong, in severity order
  2. Fix the faults suppressing pages you already have
  3. Agree the service page structure
  4. First pages built or rewritten

And every month after.

  1. Remaining service pages worked through in priority order
  2. Technical health re-checked, because sites break quietly
  3. Conversion paths reviewed against what visitors actually do
  4. Monthly summary of changes made

What most providers get wrong.

Rebuilding when the site wasn't the problem. A sound site missing six service pages needs six service pages, not three months and a five-figure invoice. Rebuilds should follow evidence, not aesthetics.

Chasing a perfect performance score. Getting a slow site to acceptable is worth real money. Getting an acceptable site to perfect is a hobby, and that effort belongs on a page that doesn't exist yet.

When you should not buy this.

If any of these describe you, we would rather say so now than take a month’s money finding out.

  • You want a redesign. This is search work on the site you have. If it genuinely needs rebuilding we'll say so, and that is the other service.
  • You're unwilling to change the wording. Most of the gain is in what the pages say.
  • Your site is on a platform we cannot publish to and you don't want manual handoff. That's workable, but you should know up front.

Questions we get asked.

Do I need a new website?

Usually not. If the foundations are sound, improving structure, service pages, speed and local relevance is faster and cheaper. If the site itself is the constraint we'll show you the evidence before recommending a rebuild.

What platforms can you work on?

WordPress is the one we work on directly. Others vary, and where we cannot publish automatically we prepare the changes for manual publishing and tell you that at the start rather than after you have signed.

Will you break anything?

Changes are made deliberately and recorded, so there is always an answer to what changed and when. Anything structural is agreed with you first.

£147 a month, website included if you need one.

Send us the web address. We'll crawl it, tell you what is actually broken, and say honestly whether it needs fixing or rebuilding.
