WHAT THIS SHOULD IMPROVE

01Clearer service and location relevance

02A stronger route from search to enquiry

03Fewer gaps between the site and business profile

The problem this solves.

Most trades businesses are competing in a contest they can't see. You know roughly where you rank because you have searched for yourself from your own yard, which is the one place you'll always look good. Two streets away it can be a different picture entirely, and nobody has ever shown you that.

Underneath sits a more basic problem. The profile says one thing, the website says another, an old directory listing says a third, and Google is trying to work out which version of your business is real. Local SEO is mostly the work of making those agree, then earning relevance for the jobs you want rather than the ones you happen to get.

What is actually included.

In the order it gets done, because the order matters more than the list.

01

Find out where you actually stand

Position checked from several points across the area you cover, not from your own postcode. This usually produces the first genuinely new information an owner has had about their search presence.

02

Fix the business profile

Primary category, services, service areas, hours and address configuration. For trades the address setting alone is the difference between ranking and being suspended, and it is wrong more often than not.

03

Make everything agree

Name, address and phone number reconciled across the site, the profile and the directories still carrying old versions of your details. Mismatches are quiet and they cost you.

04

Build the service pages that matter

A page for each job you want more of, written around the search rather than around your company history. Which jobs those are is a commercial decision we make with you, not a keyword export.

05

Set the coverage story straight

An honest structure for the areas you serve, which for most trades means service areas and a coverage page rather than a page per town. We'll explain why if you have been told otherwise.

06

Review signals

A workable routine for asking, plus replies to what comes in. Recency counts for more than the total, and most trades ask in bursts or not at all.

What the first month looks like.

  1. Baseline: where you rank across your area, what your profile is doing, what the site is missing
  2. Fix anything actively harmful, starting with profile configuration
  3. Agree which services and areas are commercially worth pursuing
  4. First round of page work

And every month after.

  1. Continued page and profile work against the agreed priorities
  2. Position re-checked from the same points, so the comparison means something
  3. A monthly summary of what was done and what is next
  4. Adjustments when something moves, or conspicuously does not

What most providers get wrong.

Treating local SEO as a monthly quantity of activity: a number of posts, a number of directory submissions, a report. It is closer to removing obstacles in the right order, and a business with a misconfigured profile and an unindexed site doesn't need content yet.

Reporting a single ranking position for a whole county. Position varies street by street for a service-area business, so one number is either meaningless or it was chosen because it flatters.

When you should not buy this.

If any of these describe you, we would rather say so now than take a month’s money finding out.

  • You're already turning work away. Raise your prices before buying more enquiries.
  • You want a guaranteed position. Nobody can sell you that honestly.
  • You need work this week. This compounds over months, and paid ads are the honest answer for immediate capacity.
  • You aren't willing to change anything on the website. There's no version of this that works without touching the site.

Questions we get asked.

How is this different from what an agency did before?

Usually that the work is visible. You get told what changed, when, and what happened to the numbers afterwards. If that sounds like a low bar it is, and it is also the thing most trades say they never had.

Do you need access to my website?

Yes, for the work to be done rather than recommended. You grant it, you can revoke it, and nothing is changed on a live site without that access being given first.

What if my profile is suspended?

That gets dealt with before anything else, because a suspension removes you from the map entirely and no amount of on-site work compensates for it.

£147 a month, website included if you need one.

Tell us your trade and the area you cover. We'll check where you actually rank across it, not from your own postcode, and show you what came back.
